This quilt, short of the binding, has been finished for four years. I fell in love with the Mother Goose & Friends the first time I laid eyes on it and I knew that it would make a perfect quilt for a child. Of course, a Mother Goose quilt must have flying geese.

Pieced back.

My favorite four year old and her friend Bruno.

1728 inches of binding!

I'm so grateful for Cluck Cluck Sew's tutorial on machine binding.

I'm so glad that I could squeeze a little sewing into my day!

I woke up this morning and decided that I needed a little diversion from the monotony of the project that I have been working on. This Moda Love quilt was just the ticket.

It's always a good feeling to be a part of something good.

I was honored when my friends who serve in PTA asked me to make a quilt for the principal of our local high school. Mr. Murphy is a great leader and is loved by all of the students and parents. He will be greatly missed in the hallways of Timpanogos High School, but we wish him well as he takes a position at the district level.

The front of the quilt is signed by the faculty and staff, the back is signed by the students.

Not much of a day for a clam bake or a daysail. But let's be honest…this is Uath and we don't really do clam bakes.

Clambake pattern by Thimbleblossoms. Daysail fabric by Bonnie and Camille for Moda.

This month by month quilt has been sitting in the "to be bound" pile for years. It feels so good to have it finished.

Pattern by Lynnette Jensen of Thimbleberries.

I love the simplicity of this traditional rolling stone pattern. It's eye catching and shows off the fabric well.

This navy and white rugby stripe quilt was made for a special baby boy. His sweet mama-to-be is a dear friend of our family. She and my daughter grew up together as best friends. During high school hardly a day went by when she wasn't in our home.

The daddy-to-be played rugby on BYU's national championship team. That explains the rugby stripes.

I'm so excited for this great couple. They are going to be wonderful parents!

This quilt is for my oldest daughter. She recently bought her first home and this is a little house warming gift. It will go well with her Bohemian decor.

I'm making progress on my pile of quilts to be bound.

I'm getting ready for a binding party. I've committed to myself to get these seven quilts bound before I start on the two new projects that I have on my list.

This Kitty Cat Charm Quilt is a pattern by Robert Calleham and was published in the October 2000 issue of McCall's Quilting. My daughter has been begging me to make this quilt for her since she was eight. She turned 19 two months ago! It took a few months to get it made and I'm so happy to get it finished.

I love the 30's flowers quilting, especially on the minky backing.

Nothing says cute and classic like pink gingham.

The sweet bunny background is a precious pairing. The metallic gold hearts and crowns lend the perfect finishing touch.

This Mama Hen quilt was a gift to my mother. For years she has enjoyed raising hens and gathering eggs in her backyard. Last year she sold her home and moved to a community for active seniors, so she no longer has room for a backyard farm.

Mom squealed when she opened her gift. It will always be a reminder of her sweet Henny Penny.

So ready for spring!

A fun herringbone quilt…just because. I'm in love with this Riley Blake boat print on the back.

My first try at machine binding using Cluck Cluck Sew's tutorial. There is a learning curve, but I feel like I'm starting to get the hang of it.
