I guess at one time I really liked dandelions...at least I liked this fabric. It caught my eye immediately and I knew I just had to make a jumper for my oldest daughter. That was back in the days when I used to sew the majority of my childrens' clothing. Too bad you can't see the cute little yellow checked apron that is attached at the waist. This picture was taken back when DD1 was in first grade.
Now look how much she's grown. It's hard to believe that she'll be graduating high school in just two months!
What a lovely daughter! What is that song? "..turn around and you're tiny, turn around and you're grown, turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own." How time flies.
ReplyDeleteyour daughter is just beautiful in both pictures. Isn't it amazing how fast they really do grow up? Yikes, we are down to one left at home! We are surviving 4 daughters and so my husband is also a master of the man answer! He claims that he and the dog are the only boys around.
ReplyDeleteI liked the dandelion! I can't wait to see one here in WI!
Well, if life's going to give you weeds, you could do worse than the dandelion! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the dandelions material, and what a beautiful daughter. My 2 1/2 year little girl loves dandelions too...she would love a dress made out of that fabric! (I just made her two dresses--my first attempt!)
