I opened the front door on my way to the mail box and nearly tripped over a LARGE package on my porch. For a moment I was trying to remember what I had purchased online, then I remembered that a wonderful gift was on it's way from Sharon's home! Joy, oh, joy!!!
I was the lucky winner of Sharon's blog giveaway last month! Look at that CUTE BOW. Isn't that sweet? I think this is as good, if not better than, Christmas. I mean really...a gift from another quilter...does it get any better than that? lol!

I am so excited about each and every treat inside. All sorts of sewing knick knacks, crafting do-dads (oops...left the cute buttons out of the picture) and a Tide to Go stick. (Don't get any ideas College Girl...this one's for me!) The icing on the cake is the yard of Funky Monkey banana fabric with the red background. When I told Sharon how excited my DD, Blondie, was about the Funky Monkey charm packs, she generously offered to throw in some matching yardage for Blondie to use to make a throw! How fun is that?
Thanks for your kindness, Sharon! I think I'm just going to sit here for a while and oooh and aaah over all my goodies!
Congratulations!!! Sharon is a sweetheart -- even if I didn't win that basket LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow -- lucky is right! What a fun basket full of goodies (and the basket is fantastic too). I love that kimono quilt for CG and those yummy fat quarters -- what fun! (I have some sushi and fortune cookie fabrics I could spare a fat quarter of if you're interested -- oh, and a soda pop fabric too). Looks like you're cooking (pun intended) on your quilts in 2008!
ReplyDeletecongratulations!
