Food Blog --- NOT!

Eileen recently commented that my quilt blog was turning into a food blog. And my sister suggested that I stop posting unflattering childhood pictures of her and stick to quilting. Sooooo.....here's a picture of a little quilt that I finished yesterday.

Now, had I done a little less baking and refrained from posting damaging picture of my sister, I might have had this quilt finished in time to enjoy BEFORE Valentine's Day was past. I like to think "better late than never" and we all know that it's ready for next year!

That is a really nice Valentine's Day quilt.
I've quite enjoyed viewing cupcakes, they are one of my favorite yummies in life...

You are not late Kairle, just really early and on the ball for next year! I like to view the cup as half full. :o)

Looks great . . . and certainly nice enough to use right now *s* Who says it has to be a Valentine only quilt?

I really like it. I'm also looking forward to seeing your responses to my tag - you're it. I hope you don't mind.

It's lovely -- and hey, pink is a lovely spring type color. It can be up for a bit longer :0). As for your cabana boy? I need to get myself one of those. I mean, mine did bring me diet coke this morning -- but he left it out in the garage. I had to bring it in myself. Geesh!

This isn't a FOOD blog? So sorry--I must be on the wrong page. What is that square pink thing on the latest post? Am I on the wrong page??

~Joan, who was just looking for a good recipe to try out tomorrow. Isn't this where I got a mini pumpkin muffin recipe that we LOVE? Am I confused? Is this a food blog?

...minus the damage control of those unflattering pictures of me (the picked-on-little-sister), I'm really only here for decorating ideas and food. I'm stitch-challenged. Is there a better word for people afraid of quilting?

You really must accept that you are a Domestic Goddess! We worship you!

What a pretty quilt, Kairle! Even though it has the Valentine colors, I think it works for Springtime, don't you?
